Ken has agreed to allow the grate inlets provided that the only runoff is from the street. He does not want any additional on-site runoff to be directed to the inlet. When resubmitting the plans for review, could you also provide manufacturer information for the inlets if you have it? Thanks. Teresa »> "Beard, Jaime" <JBeard@Halff.com> 9/23/02 1:51:56 PM »> Theresa, Unfortunately starting the curb return at the edge of the inlet does not get us there. The drive is still in conflict with the blow-off valve. I've sent you several sketches via fax showing different drive locations and their associated conflicts. Transwestern is proposing to put in grates that are rated for truck traffic to replace the curb inlet. Please contact me to discuss when you have a chance to review the sketches. Thanks for your help and attention to this matter. Jaime R. Beard Halff Associates, Inc. Staples ~ Page 2 I spoke with Ken about the driveway/inlet delimma. Would it be possible to begin the driveway curb return right at the inlet? That would only require the driveway to be shifted to the north about 5 to 7 feet. I am assuming that the inlet is not recessed, correct? I do know that Ken is not in favor of a grate inlet due to the amount of truck traffic at that driveway. Let me know whether or not this works. Thanks.
