The Denton County Levee Improvement District No. 1 is proposing a project for the
dredging of a portion of existing Denton Creek. This maintenance project would be to
remove existing sediment and other debris, and divert water during low flows from the
Denton Creek Flood Control Channel to the Old Denton Creek.
Attached for your review and comments are two (2) sets of these construction plans for
the "Maintenance Dredging of Denton Creek" for the Denton County Levee Improvement
District No. 1. These plans are approximately 85% completed. Your review would be
greatly appreciated.
