Larry Davis will be out of the office part of next week however, once you receive the approved permit you
can have the contractor install the erosion control protection. Essentially the early grading pre-con is an
on-site inspection of the erosion control and any one of our inspectors can verify that it is installed
properly. Just have the contractor get in touch with me once it is installed and I will send someone out to
the site.
If I don't hear from Jaime by early this afternoon I will call him to discuss the driveway issue.
I will be out of the office today from noon until 1:00 but I will be here the rest of the time. You can fax the
early release letter to me at 972-304-3570.
Again, feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I will be looking for the plans and hope to have
you a permit before the end of the day. Thank you.

Teresa, I was going to call you this morning. Thanks for your help in
this fast-track process and for staying on top of this permit issue. I
will be selecting a general contractor today. We hope to release them
today to pick up early-grading permit, to mobilize and start early next
week. I will have the early-release letter completed as you
requested. I will have Jaime Beard of Halff deliver to you the required
additional plans today for Larry's use and your files. Can we also set
up Larry's pre-construction meeting for next Thursday. I am in Boston
on Tuesday and Wednesday with Staples. We can meet Monday 9/23/02, if
Larry wishes. We are submitting the building permit set to Greg Jones
early next week also.
There is also one small issue that Jaime Beard needs to discuss with you
regarding the relocation of Staples north driveway entrance. Hope you
can work with us to resolve the issue. Thanks again.

According to the timeline I have from you for this project, I believe
you were wanting to receive the Early Grading Permit today.
I can issue the permit today but I only have one copy of the plan sets.

I will need to sign however many plan sets that your contractor will
need and our construction inspector requires one set.
I have the completed permit application in our file but I need a hold
harmless letter. I believe I faxed you the letter used for your last
project in Coppell. The 2% inspection fees will need to be paid as
well.
