Construction Plan Review Comments
Dear Mr. McGraw:
The City of Coppell has reviewed the revised plans for the referenced project and has the
following comments to offer:
Plat -
1. Sheet 1 of 2 of the plat was omitted from the plans.
Sheet CWWO1 -
2. The FDC should not be connected to the fire line. It should be connected to the sprinkler
system within the building.
3. Please show the proposed water service to the guard shack.
4. At Sta. 5+95 a manhole should be provided where the service line from the guard shack
connects to the main 8" sewer line.
5. The City of Coppell has approved the substitution of higher strength concrete in lieu of
the lime-stabilized subgrade. Also, please be advised that any work within the City right-
of-way will still require lime-stabilized subgrade or an approved flex base alternate.
Once the above changes have been made, please submit three sets of plans for the City's use and
as many sets as the contractor needs so that they can be signed by the City as approved for
construction. The inspector for this project will be Larry Davis. If you have any questions or
need any additional information, please contact this office.
