Dear Ken:
Kimley-Hom and Associates, Inc. (KHA) has been idle for a calendar year on the
referenced project. We have not received a reply from the design engineer or the
City on our comment letter dated July 3, 2001. At the time of our comment
letter, the CLOMR report (produced by JD Landes, Inc.) was not complete for
submittal to FEMA. The comments listed in our letter should be addressed
before a submittal is made. Additional comments to the ones in our original
letter may be generated as a result of the reply to those comments.
Please let me know how you would like to proceed with this particular 'work
order' under our on-call contract. KHA has invoiced the City for $1,500 of the
$2,000 authorized under this individual work order.
It has been our pleasure serving the City of Coppell and we look forward to
continuing to serve you on future 'work orders' and projects. I look forward to
hearing from you.
