1) TxDOT will provide the City of Cbppell with the pole, pole mount, sign(s) and mounting
hardware for the route sign located inside the City of Coppell's current construction project,
to be permanently placed by the City of Coppell at the completion of your project. TxDOT will
also provide the City of Coppell with standard sheets for the placement of this sign(s), and a copy
of the original plan sheet as a reference for placement.
2) Traffic loop detectors located on north bound Denton Tap Rd. at east bound SH -121 Bypass
frontage road:
The State will place the two (2) present loops as shown on our plans and one additional loop
in the outside lane on north bound Denton Tap Rd. in the permanent concrete. TxDOT will not
place the set -back loops located approx. 180' from the intersection due to the current construction
in that area by the City of Coppell. TxDOT will place the ground box for these set -back loops
with conduit and all wiring leading from that ground box back to the controller cabinet. The City
of Coppell will be responsible for the installation of these set -back loops and all wiring, conduit,
etc. necessary to tie them into the ground box placed by TxDOT, and for making them
operational.
3) All pavement markings through the Denton Tap Rd. intersections with SH -121 have changed
due to the completion of both the City of Lewisville and the City of Coppell's construction
projects north of the SH -121 bypass. TxDOT will place permanent striping for three (3) through
lanes both north and south bound for Denton Tap Rd. stopping at the east bound frontage road of

the SH -121 bypass. All permanent striping south of this point will be the responsibility of the City
of Coppell to place due to the detour to be placed by your contractor ( Revcon ) once TxDOT
has opened Denton Tap did. to traffic.
