Re: Sandy Lake Rd - McArthur to Coppell E City Limits
Dear Mr. Mears:
Dallas Water Utilities Relocations has reviewed the proposed street and drainage reconstruction plans for
the subject project. From the current review it appears that there are conflicts between the proposed plans
and existing DWU facilities in the following locations:
1. Sht.#19/41
2. Sht.#20/42
3. Sht.#20/42
4. Sht.#21/43
5. Sht.#22/44
6. Sht.#24/46
7. Sht.#39
Sta. 44+00+ Possible conflict between proposed edge of paving and existing
pressure reducing vault structure. Proposed curb line crosses over existing water
valve manholes and vaults. Please re-align paving plan to miss the north edge of
existing vaults. Please redesign curb to miss existing water valve manholes.
Adjustment of water valve manholes to proposed grade will be necessary.
Sta. 45+70+ Proposed 48" lateral crosses close to existing 30" water. Please add a
caution note.
Sta. 46+20_+ Existing 5' diameter water valve manhole. Adjustment to
proposed grade will be necessary.
Sta. 49+60_+ Existing 4.5' diameter pitot outlet manhole. Please show manhole on
plans. Adjustment to proposed grade will be necessary.
Sta. 55+40_+ Existing type 2 air valve and 4.5' diameter manhole. Adjustment to
proposed grade will be necessary.
Sta. 65+30+ Proposed inlet aligned upon existing 5' diameter water valve manhole.
Please re-align inlet. Adjustment of manhole to proposed grade will be necessary.
Sra. 30+40_+ = 0+90 (21" Stm. Swr.) Existing 30" water flow line labeled as
430.00'. Please change flow line elevation to 436.3'. DWU 685W-678 sh.15.
