Thanks for the update. I get the impression from your response that you prefer to have the contract
assigned to the City, so if that's easier and quicker from your perspective, we'll pursue that. We'll put
something together to take care of that next week.
Regarding Oncor, I have sent Mr. Fielding information about the project as you know, and he should have
had some time to review it by now. Since you wrote that you've called him, rm sure you have his office
number. In case you don't have it, please note that his mobile number is (972)888-1304. He is
sometimes easier to reach on that number.
Some of the poles along Ruby also belong to Verizon. rve spoken with Ron Hilton there about it, and I
believe he's turned it over to Mike Martinez. Ron's number is (972)434-0622, and Mike's is
(972)434-1019.

I did receive the contract info. Our attorney said it could be
assigned to us. Not sure what that involves other than maybe a letter
of understanding - do you have thoughts on it? I have left a message
with Jim Koch. The plans should be returned to P-K on Monday. If you
will provide me with a list of contractors we will send them an
invitation to bid when we bid the project. I have left two messages
with Rick Fielding and he has yet to return my call. Once I have a
relocation date I can set a bid date.
This is the latest. Once I hear from Rick I will let you know,

Ken,
I am following up on the messages rve left for you over the last few
days. Please let me know if you received the Pacheco Koch contract
information I faxed to you last week for the Ruby Road project. I don't
yet know what your preference is in terms of having our existing
contract assigned to you or creating a new one between the City and PK,
but Jim Koch has indicated that he is open to either option.
We want to do everything we can to keep the project moving forward in a
timely manner, so please let me know what we can do to help. Our
attorneys have drafted a purchase agreement for the land we'll acquire,
and I will be reviewing that over the next few days so that we can get a
copy to you soon.
I spoke to the bidders who submitted bid information to us, and they
all said they'd like to be on your bid list.
Any updates you can give will be appreciated, either in response to
this e-mail or by phone at (972)361-6714.
