The followin9 is 'a 'draft copy of a letter that we would propose placing on
doors of residences along W. Sandy Lake. Road as we begin our survey
efforts next week. Please review it and let me know if you have any

121 and move east, so the first few days we should not have a need to
access any occupied property.

RE: W. Sandy Lake Road Improvement Project

Dear Coppell Resident / Property Owner:
Teague Nail and Perkins, Inc. (TNP) has been contracted by the City of Coppell to provide
engineering and surveying services for the design of improvements to W. Sandy Lake Road,
froraSH 121 to Denton-Tap Road. Our survey personnel will be working in this area for
approximately six (6) to eight (8) weeks, weather permitting, beginning Monday, February 5,
2001. Our tnjckS,-and field personnel .can be cleady identified by the name of our firm
displayed on'~;~."Sides of trUCks and employees' shirts. In order to obtain the information
necessary f~'i;~sigi~ of this project; our surveyors will be recording and mapping horizontal
and vertical information of existing improvements along the road. These existing
improvements or existing features include items such as driveways, mailboxes, trees, shrubs,
fences, power poles, walls, house comers, etc. We will also be locating property lines and
property corners for the lots and tracts of land immediately adjacent to the road in order to
determine the existing right-of-way for Sandy Lake Road.
In order to accomplish this work our surveyors may need to access your front and/or rear

without fi~st;'se'ek[n~ your:' permission, however, information in areas that are accessible from
Sandy Lake Road or adjoining side streets will be gathered without seeking further

5773. If an objection 'is presented, we will do all that we can to accommodate or address the
concerns and/or issues raised.
