Carter & Burgess, Inc. and the Denton County Levee Improvement District No. 1 greatly
appreciated the City of Coppell's timely review of the project for the dredging of a portion
of existing Denton Creek. In response to the City's written comments dated October 16,
2002, we have made the following revisions to the construction plans:
General Notes:
1. Revised Note #1 - changed Kenneth M. Griffin as the City Engineer.
2. Revised Note #9 — added "and with a City of Coppell Tree Removal Permit ".
3. Revised Note #21 — added for the Contractor to designate a site with the
Engineer's approval prior to any construction.
4. Revised Note #22 — corrected typo.
5. Note #23 — added note for Contractor to notify adjacent landowners.
Access and Haul Road Notes:
1. Note #2 — Added Contractor to repair any damages to hike and bike trails.
Project Overview Map:
1. Corrected name of subdivision.

sets of plans for contractor and us. Also, we have included a floodplain development
permit application.
