RE: Burns Road Closure
Date: September 18, 1995
On July 11, 1995, the City Council approved the closure of Burns Road and Hammond Street
in order for Burns Road to be reconstructed and the railroad rubberized crossings to be installed.
The contractor for Carter - Crowley Properties is ready to start the project and a pre - construction
meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, September 19th at 3:00 p.m.
The road should be closed temporarily starting Thursday, September 21st until December 4th,
1995. Attached is a location map of the project and its surrounding neighborhood.
