KHA Job No. 063093006
Dear Mr. Urisko:
This submittal is in response to the September 10, 2002 PBS &J letter requesting
additional information regarding the case number referenced above. Comments
have been addressed as follows:
Item 1: Cross section 394 +40 has been revised in response to comment number
two. The floodway width is no longer greater than the floodplain width.
Item 2: Cross sections 392 +90, 394 +40, 394 +90, and 395 +40 have been revised
in the duplicate effective model to match the effective cross sections
provided by FEMA on September 17, 2002. Modifications to the
corrected effective and post project models have been made to
incorporate these revised cross sections where necessary. The following
table lists the revised floodplain elevations for existing and proposed
conditions.

Comparison of Water Surface Elevations for FEMA Regulatory Flows
Item 3: Cross sections 394 +40, 394 +90, and 395 +40 are upstream of the limits
of the KHA modifications. The delineation of the floodplain in through
these cross sections is the same as the delineation from the "Floodplain
Map" found in the Mansions on the Lake LOMR, performed by
Dunaway Associates, Inc., and dated 1/22/99.
The delineation of cross sections 379 +90, 378 +00, and 376 +00 has been
revised to reflect the topwidths from the post - project model.
Please resume review on our request that FEMA issue a Conditional Letter of
Map Revision (CLOMR) for the referenced project.
