We had a little mixup with the fee breakdown. The total amount was correct, however, by state law the
engineering department is only allowed to collect roadway impact and inspection fees. The remainder of
the fees are collected by the building inspections department when the building permit is issued.
Could you send me a letter indicating that you paid all fees to the engineering department voluntarily? We
can then distribute the fees internally. Otherwise, If you would rather, we can refund the portion of fees
that should have been to the building inspections department and have you re-issue them a check when
you take out the building permit.
You can fax the letter to me at 972-304-3570 and then follow-up in the mail with a hard copy. If you have
