These plans are adequate for relocations along the north side of the proposed roadway. Based on the plans, Qwest facilities are located along the west side of Royal Lane and extend eastward along the north side of the existing road to Freeport Parkway. The right-of-way for the two tracts ofland immediately east of Royal Lane (Lot 1 R, Freeport North Addition and Coppell Industrial Addition) and the tracts of land west and east of Freeport Parkway (Duke-Freeport Addition Lot 2, Block A and Lot 1 Block A) has not been acquired. Facilities in these areas may be left under the proposed roadway or relocated once the right-of-way has been acquired. The remaining right-of-way along the north side, from Royal Lane to Freeport Parkway, has been dedicated to the City. The City will sell bonds for this project in June 2003 and initiate construction of Bethel Road soon after. Please coordinate any utility relocations accordingly. These plans are adequate for relocations along the north side of the proposed roadway. Storm drain facilities are still under design on the south side of the proposed roadway. Based on the plans, Touch America facilities are located along the west side of Royal Lane and extend eastward along the north side of the existing road to Freeport Parkway. MSN, AT&T and SW Bell facilities are located along the east side of Royal Lane and extend eastward along the south side of the existing road to Freeport Parkway. The City has no objection to all of the facilities being relocated to the north side of the proposed roadway.
