Dear LuAnn:
We are receiving daily complaints about the road conditions on
that portion of East Beltline Road in the City limits of Dallas.
Reports are ranging from "rough, please repair" to "I have
damaged my car". We have relayed these complaints on several
occasions now to the 24 hour road hazard number (747-2600) and
response has been slow, if any.
We have on many occasions in the past made repairs in this area
but the repairs needed now appear to be much more substantial
than just surface patches. I would further recommend that those
repairs be made prior to an overlay, which I understand is
scheduled.
Please advise me of when these repairs can be made.
