Subject: Riverchase Walkway
Dear Mr. Griffin:
You have recently inquired about the possibility of constructing an elevated walkway across the
Oncor transmission corridor located south of Sandy Lake Road and east of MacArthur Blvd. in
Coppell, Texas. This transmission corridor consists of four Oncor transmission lines supported by
lattice steel towers. This walkway is proposed to not exceed an elevation level of 446 feet MSL.
Attached is a map prepared by you showing prefered routes for this proposed walkway. Shown on
this map in red ink next to each transmission tower is the structure number assigned to each tower.
Also included is a map prepared by this office detailing the transmission corridor. Included on this
map are areas crosshatched to show where your walkway can be constructed so that proper ground to
conductor clearances can be maintained. These crosshatched areas begin at a point 50' from each
structure. This distance is not a firm distance but is shown so that a proper distance can be
maintained so that each structure can be accessed by heavy machinery if required.
Please confirm with your engineering consultants if your proposed walkway can be altered to be
situated in the areas as shown. If so, please prepare and submit plans reflecting the alternate route. I
