I'm assuming that was done per TXU /Oncor's requirements. It was the electricians responsibility to install the conduit per TXU /Oncor's requirements. I think Larry was the one that brought it to Billy's attention. I went ahead and asked Billy to see how much it would cost to lower the conduit. If it ends up being too much money then we will adjust it with the Tennis Center project. I really think we need to look at the sod /hydromulch issue as we get closer to installing it. I think we agreed that we want to solid sod the disturbed areas on the berms. I'll look at the plans again. Chris Schnitger, P.E. All conduit was to be installed at 18" below subgrade to ensure there was enough clearance for any future drive approaches. Maybe this was only done at the original Tennis Center drive location. I will need a drawing of the solid sod/ hydromulch locations since the locations are going to differ from the locations as stated in the specifications. >>> "Schnitger, Chris" <cschnitger @sradesign.com> 07/18/02 10:23AM >>> Suzan, Billy called me this morning with a couple of questions and I wanted to pass them on to you so you know what is going on. The first question regarded the conduit for the street lighting. We had a drive location shown on the original construction documents for the Tennis Center but it has since been moved. The new sidewalk plans reflect the location which is approximately 200 feet further to the east. ISI lowered the conduit in the location of drive on the original plans but the conduit that is located at the new drive location is at normal depth. I think it would be best if we had them lower the conduit at the new drive location, right now. Of course Billy is talking about an added cost. We have a cost for the conduit and I don't know that we would need new conduit. We just need the conduit lowered. If it ends up costing too much then we might be able to do it cheaper with the Tennis Center. I'm going to ask ISI to get us a price to lower the conduit. We're only talking about 30-40 feet. Material costs alone shouldn't be more than $200. The second issue was a concern that Larry had regarding the sidewalk and the curb inlet on the far eastern end of the Creekview. Larry feels like the slope from the sidewalk to the curb inlet is too severe. The plans show this to be a 25% or 4:1. It's a manageable slope. We can lower the walk or E Suzan Taylor RE: Creekvie . , w Drive Pale 3 pull if further from the inlet but that will increase our cut into the bank. In our opinion the grade isn't severe but I will double check with a few people in our office. Chris Chris Schnitger, P.E.
