There is a regularly scheduled site meeting this Thursday, February 28th.
Ken Griffin, and others in this office would like to meet prior to the site
meeting to discuss the slope grading outside of the ROW, as well as other
outstanding issues related to this project. I have faxed Philip a notice of
the meeting and asked him and any others to attend. Would you be available
to meet Thursday morning at 8:30 at the City offices? Please let me know if

Are ALL the pavers to be removed from the job? Including the ones in the
median noses?

I called Philip and I am going to fax him the pertinent information
regarding the stamped pavement and then I will mail him a copy of the entire
letter. He said is shouldn't be a problem to get and estimate together.

I will add the deletion of the blow-off assembly valves and give to Paula to
final. It is my understanding that they want to have stamped concrete from
this time forward. If the proposal is too high then they may consider
staying with the pavers, but I was instructed to get a cost.

I will try and have some sidewalk plans by the end of the week.
With regards to the blow off valves being deleted with Change Order #2, that
is up to the City. Regardless of whether they remain in the Contract or
taken out, the Contractor will not get paid for them.
I will fax over an approved copy of Pay Estimate #2.
I got your letter today regarding the stamped concrete. Am I to understand
that all the locations where we have paver bands IN the street paving that
they are to be stamped concrete instead? I$1 is currently pouring the
pavement for Freeport Parkway and asking ISI to revise these sections will
most likely delay construction. I will forward the information on to ISI
and ask them to prepare a proposal.

I checked the math and it looks fine. I think that the deletion of the 3
blow-off assembly valves (Item 311) should be added to the change order, do
you agree?
Larry has requested that you fax a copy of the pay estimate #2 over with
your approval noted on it for our files. Also do you know the status of the
plans for the sidewalk? Larry is needing to know the proposed locations as
soon as possible.

Here is a copy of Change Order ~2. Please double check my math. ISI has
already seen a copy, marked it up and returned it. If the numbers are right
then it should be good to go.
