Philip didn't make it sound like they wanted any compensation. As of right
now there is nothing officially in writing that says the lights are to be
removed. Only the conversation that Philip and I had. I thought if we
wrote a letter making it official then ISI would have an opportunity to
respond. We may go through the process of preparing the change order and
then once ISI sees it they could delay it if they want some compensation.
I also got a fax from them today with a revised overall price for the work
in the corner of Freeport Parkway and Ruby Road. I will fax you a copy.

Did they want any compensation for removing the lights from their contract?
If they are aware of the change order I do not think that we need to send
them a letter - they have to sign the change order. Ken is on vacation
until the 4th of January. He is supposed to be in and out, so I will ask
him how to proceed with the deletion of the lights from isi and the
agreement with TXU. I was waiting to see if isi wanted any compensation for
deleting the lights before I talked with Ken.

I apologize for not getting the Change Order to you last week like we had
discussed. I went ahead and typed up a copy on the computer so that it
would be easier for you to read. This CO only covers the removal of the
lighting. I haven' heard back from I$1 regarding the new fence price yet.
Looks like they might end up using Larry's contractor for the fence.
I think we should send a letter to ISI making it official that we are
removing the lights from the Contract. I'm not sure if I need to write this
or if it should come from the City.

Could we get a breakdown of the items included in the $20,3787 The cost of
the fence on the last proposal was $12,000 for the fence and $2300 to paint
the fence, which averaged out to be $17.87/L.F.
I cannot tell if his cost per L.F. has been reduced.
