PRE -BID CONFERENCE MacArthur /Samuel Drainage Project DR 00 -01 Bid # 1102 -01 01 -08 -03 2:00 p.m. Scope of Work: Installation of approximately 978 LF of S/D, 5 inlets, 3 S/D manholes, 1 Aransition structure, removal of approximately 90 LF of S/D, removal and replacement of approximately 190 SY of 8" concrete pavement. All of this work will take place in the public right -of -way near the intersection of MacArthur Blvd and Samuel Blvd in the City of Coppell, TX. City of Coppell Project #DR 00 -01 Plans and Specifications, NCTCOG Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, TNIUTCD and City of Coppell Standard Detail drawings and specifications shall govern the work to be done along with any state and federal regulations. Traffic control and public safety will be of the utmost concern during the entire construction process. Also, final clean-up and reestablishment of vegetation shall follow in an expeditious manner. Bid Process: Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on January 16, 2003 in the office of the Purchasing Agent, Coppell Town Center, 255 Parkway Blvd., PO Box 9478, Coppell TX 75019 and shall include the time for completion in calendar days. Liquidated damages are set at $240 per day and the successful bidder shall demonstrate to the owner that he has the experienced personnel, the equipment and the financial resources to complete the work as bid.
