Kimley -Horn and Associates, Inc. 12700 Park Central Drive, Suite 1800 Dallas, Texas 75251 RE: Schreiber Tract CLOMR, FEMA Case Number 02- 06 -205OR Project #FS99 -04 On December 9, 2002 a Conditional Letter of Map Revision ( CLOMR) was issued by FEMA for the proposed reclamation of the Schreiber Tract. According to the City's Floodplain Management Ordinance 2001 -952 Article 2, Section A, this CLOMR will be valid for a period of two years. If reclamation does not begin by December 9, 2004, the CLOMR will be ruled invalid and another CLOMR will be required. Also, please be advised that with the new FEMA requirement for community officials to certify that properties are reasonably safe from flooding, as per Technical Bulletin 10, the City will require certified density reports on all fill material placed for the reclamation. Please be advised that all fill should be placed in a maximum of 8 -inch lifts with density tests taken appropriately. Also, please be advised that within the CLOMR there are various items noted that the community must comply with to request a revision to the FIS and FIRM. It will be your responsibility as an agent of the owner of the property to insure that all of those items are complied with so that the property can be officially removed from the floodplain.
