Bill:
In looking through the submitted plans for proposed curb cuts, 1 have the
following comments and/or questions:
1. The need for curb cuts on State Road at this time seems premature.
Explain the request for them since there is no access to the current
phase of construction.
2. Are you proposing to construct driveway approaches at this time? If
so, how will unwanted vehicular access to the property be prevented
(four-wheeling, etc.)?
3. The curb return at the south drive appears to extend beyond the
property line. That is not allowed by the city's subdivision ordinance.
4. The minimum distance (nose-to-nose of median) between median
openings is 420'. It is probable that only one opening would be
provided with the improvements to State Road. It is most likely that
the median opening at the north driveway would not be provided since

RegaMing Curb cuts at State Road
Message:
Mr. Crump.
Please find enclosed the above referenced. GoppeA Bible Fellowship is wanting to place their curb cuts along
State Road at this time in order to establish the median cuts. I would like for you to review the fire Lane access as
well as any other fire safety issues that need to be considered for these curb cuts to comply. Be aware that the
curb cut at the northern most part of the State Road is located so that the future sanctuary will have adequate
fire hose coverage from the fire lane.
I am also sending this to Ms. Teresa Tumer with the City Engineer's office to verify the width of State Road
Upon completion in the future.
Please call Should you have any questions.
Sincerely,
$ill Ward
