N~3Ch,:(j a;'~ :3 exhibit sheets showing the existing and proposed relocation of
the 12" Explorer Pipeline located south of Bethel Road on DFW Airport property.
The existing pipeline location was based on markers provided by John Williams,
Explorer's contract pipeline locator. The existing 12" pipeline is basically located
5 feet south of the proposed curb between Sta. 19+00 and 27 +00, then crosses
the proposed curb and ends up under the proposed right turn lane before turning
90 degrees to the south at Sta. 28+80. The City of Coppell proposes relocating
the 12' pipeline to 5 feet beyond the proposed ROW, beginning at Sta. 23+10,
and continuing 5 feet off the proposed ROW line to the intersection of the
existing 12" pipeline at Sta. 28+80. This would result in the relocation of
approximately 570 linear feet of pipeline. Please review the proposed relocation
exhibits and provide your comments.
The City would also like to gel an idea of the cost to relocate the pipeline and
what will be involved in either acquiring additional right-of-way from DFW Airport,
or If the pipeline right.of-way can simply be adjusted to match the relocated
pipeline. Thank-you for your assistance and I look forward to your comments.
