RE: Bethel Road Project ST 99-05 (from the west city limits to Freeport Parkway)
Dear Mr. Minyard:
For sometime now the City ofCoppell has been in the design phase of Bethel Road from the west city limits
to Freeport Parkway. This project has presented many drainage challenges along with access issues. The
roadway itself is being designed as a four-lane divided boulevard. Therefore, to gain access to any adjacent
property, a median opening will need to be provided. In evaluating the location of your access off of Bethel
Road to the northern parking lot, it will be difficult if not impossible to provide a full median opening at that
location. Also, you currently do not have access from your truck dock area to Bethel Road.
At this point, prior to finalizing the construction plans for Bethel Road, I would like the opportunity to meet
with you and discuss the access constraints and to arrive at a mutually agreeable solution for future access
from Bethel Road to Minyard's property.
