Applications
Concrote Pipe Reinforced low head

gle offset joint design.
Plpe Joint Design The CR 012 has
been d asigned for use on a single off
set join as shown below. f=inal joint de-
signs should be obtained from the equip-
ment manufacturer.
Installlation
Handli: fg Avoid chipping of the spigot
end anhi bell. Clean the spigot including the
step w4 are the gasket is seated.
Placement Put the gasket on the spigot
end making sure that the gasket is firmly
againsl the shoulder of the offset.
Equali:,ation Run a screwdriver or rod
under the gasket to insure that the de-
signed .stretch of the gasket is equalized
around the circumference of the pipe.

Joining Lubricate the leading taper of
the bell along with the entire bell surface
with Custom Gasket Lubricant. Apply a
small amount of the lubricant to the lead-
ing edge of the gasket. Align the spigot
with the bell and push the pipe carefully
until the spigot is all the way home.
Material Specifications
CR 012 gaskets are fabricated from com-
pound meeting, or exceeding the physical
requirements of ASTM C361.
Certified test results available upon re-
quest.
Marking
All gaskets are identified with the cross
section number, pipe manufacturers'
name, specification and the year and
month of manufacture.
