Dear Mr. Witt:
As you are aware, TxDOT is preparing plans to build the main lanes of the SH 121 bypass. As part of
this project, safety lighting is proposed at the interchange of Denton Tap Road within the City of
Coppell. We are forwarding you two (2) copies of an Agreement for Construction, Maintenance and
Operation of Sufery Lighting Systems Within Municipalities for the above subject project. In accordance
with this agreement, TxDOT will be responsible for the construction, maintenance and operation of this
safety lighting system. A copy of the illumination plans are attached for your reference. You will be sent
the title sheet for this project for your signature in accordance with this agreement.
Please have this agreement executed by the proper City officials and return both copies of the agreement
to us for further processing. After all parties have executed these documents, one completely executed
original will be returned to you.
