Dear Mr. Edwards:
Pursuant to your request to delay the start time for the above referenced project, please
consider the following:
Discussions involving City management, City engineering and the school have resulted in a
favorable decision concerning your request, but have also established a firm drop -dead
finish date for the project. Please be advised that this project must be finished turn-key no
later than August 1, 2003. Your bid included 90 calendar days in which to complete the
project. However, to ensure that the project is completed on time, the starting date can be
no later than March 31, 2003.
At your earliest convenience, please submit the date on which you propose to begin work.
Along with that information please include a statement from the subcontractor that will do
the foundation for the elevated portion of the project stating that this date is agreeable with
them.
