I have attached the Development Fee Tables for various sizes of domestic and irrigation meters. The
types and sizes are indicated at the top of the sheet .
If you choose to re-tap the main and increase the size of the domestic service line to accommodate the
sprinkler system, the fees involved would be the difference between what was paid for with the 5/8"
meter and what you would be assessed for the larger size (excluding tap and inspection fees, those
would be assessed at the full amount).
If you choose to do a separate tap, you will be assessed as shown in the fee table. You will need to
work with the utilities department in determining the type of meter you need. Their number is 972-
462-5155. Once you determine which approach you are taking, contact me and I will send you a
formal assessment.

We won't give them the money back, but we can give them credit toward the new one. I asked Ted about
it. So if you want, you can just note this on the assessment. This way we will all be clear on it.

If they wanted to replace the existing 5/8" domestic meter with a larger one, would they get the meter fee
back ($24.77) when they returned the 5/8" meter to you?
