Construction Review Comments
Dear Mr. Evans:
The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer:
General: Continue to coordinate all work with the construction of Ruby Road.
Plat:
1. Curves C123 and C124 do not meet the minimum firelane curve radius requirements. Verify with
the fire marshal that this is acceptable.
2. A 4 -foot sidewalk will be required along Ruby Road.
Sheet SP -1: Will the proposed driveway paver bands be stamped concrete or brick pavers?
Sheet C3.3:
1. The maximum depth of the water detained is to be 6" in the fire lane and 6" from the required fire
access doors out to the fire lane. Show the limits of where the maximum water depth is required to
be 6" or less.
2. Provide a hydrograph for the northern truck docks.
Sheets C3.4 C3.5: The HGL is rarely shown to be above the pavement level. How does this
correspond with the proposed detention in the truck courts?
