FS9901-CS030106Xu, Allen From: Sent: To: Subject: Yi, Scott S [SSYi@pbsj.com] Monday, January 06, 2003 5:32 PM 'Axu @ Halff.com' Case 02-06-1090P Allen, Z have reviewed your most recent submittal, dated December 3, 2002. There ore issues that still need to be addressed for this case. To date, all the items requested in the request letter dated, ,Tuly 29, 2002 have not be received. The major issue is concerning the hydraulic models and the topographic work map. Per Subparagraph 65.6(a)(2) of the IqFIP regulations, revised and unrevised hydraulic analyses must have a transition between revised elevations. This transition should be within 0.5 foot, no more. Based on your recent submittal, this requirement is not met. Also, there are some hydraulic models that do not include all cross sections (for example, floodway models did not include all cross sections). To date, here is what is still needed. Corrected Effective and Post Project hydraulic models (natural and floodway) that tie into the effective hydraulic model, 0.5 foot. within at least Corrected Effective and Post Project hydraulic floodway models that includes all cross sections (up until tie in). Need to extend work map to include all cross sections up until tie in location. Please note, these items were requested within the CLOAAR letter. Unfortunately, I have more bad news. I could no longer keep 1 this case open. Due to the inactive status for over 90 days, this case had to be suspended. ]: tried to keep it going, but eventually had no choice. When these items have been addressed and submitted, a new case will have to be opened and subject to new fees. However, due to the comp[exity of this case, you may be able to have the fee transferred. To do this, Z would need a very detailed [etter explaining the complexity of the case. Then I will present it to the project engineer from FEMA and it would be up to him whether to transfer the fees. If you have any questions, or concerns, feel free to call or ema il and I would be glad to discuss these items with you.
