ST0102-CS020812D u w k'e CONSTRUCTION August 12, 2002 Mr. Rick Fielding 2 0 , 3 1 O S0 Oncor Distribution Division L 14400 Josey Lane Farmers Branch, TX 75234 Yr z3 /Z Dear Mr. Fielding: "10-4yr 0 Enclosed per our recent discussions is an additional set of plans for Ruby Road. These plans are essentially the same as the paving plans from the overall set sent to you previously, but the overhead lines and poles have been added to better show their location relative to the proposed curb lines. As we discussed last week, the poles on the east end of the project extending from Coppell Road will require relocation due to the expansion of the road. In addition to the facilities shown on these revised plans, I noticed in the field that you also have a pole in place at the southeast corner of Ruby and Freeport Parkway. Power lines extend east from this point to a streetlight at the existing curve in Ruby Road. Since this curve and the need for the streetlight will be removed with the new Ruby Road alignment, it seems that it might be possible to remove the poles extending east from Freeport Parkway entirely. Please give me a call at (972) 361 -6714 after you have an opportunity to consider these revised plans. Sincerely, if F Brook Barefoot Development Services Manager Enclosures: I. Elm Street Lewisville, TX 75057 Dear Mr. Martinez: I understand that plans for the Ruby Road Realignment that I previously sent to Bob Holland's attention at Verizon were routed to Ron Hilton and then to you. Please fred enclosed an additional set of the paving plan sheets that have had poles and overhead lines added in order to more clearly depict their existing locations relative to the proposed curb lines. Based on observations I have made in the field, it appears that the Verizon line shown on the plans on the north side of Ruby Road between Freeport Parkway and the curve in the road between Freeport and Coppell Road has been moved underground since the survey work used for these plans was done. It also looks like Verizon lines are still in place on poles on the south side of Ruby Road extending west from Coppell Road to the aforementioned curve. These paving plans indicate those poles will require relocation due to the road expansion. Please let me know if you see any other variations between what is shown on the plans and your actual facilities. As noted in previous correspondence, we at Duke hope to serve in a construction management role for the Ruby Road Realignment project, so we would appreciate a chance to discuss with you a process and schedule under which those facilities that require relocation as a result of the project can be moved. Please give me a call at (972) 36145714 at your earliest convenience. Sincerely, Brook Barefoot Development Services Manager Enclosures: 1.
