Wynnpage North 1-CS030331 From: To: Date: Subject: Andrea Roy Teresa Turner 3/31/039:23:39 AM Fwd: RE: Wynnpage Lot 1, Block B Teresa: Thought you should see this too. Mr. Witt was cc'd on this e-mail and I have already given him answers, so he'll sit tight for awhile. I went ahead and gave Ken a copy too, just so he knows the latest. Andrea >>> "Starkweather, Jerry" <Jerry.Starkweather@hp.com> 03/27/03 10:09PM >>> Andrea, I appreciate all that you are doing to try and get this resolved. I know that you have been chasing this issue for just a couple of weeks, however, this has been on the radar screen of the City for a few months and Wainscott Builders since last July. This is past the point of ridiculous! I am personally frustrated by this whole affair. Wainscott Builders damaged the Association's property in early June of 2002 by destroying the water service, which led to the plant die off, and by severing the power. We are simply asking to be made whole and would like a firm deadline established. We are now beginning April of 2003. This has been going on for 10 months! What concerns the Board about the response below is there is still NO FIRM time commitment to getting the issues resolved. When is the letter supposed to be in the City's hands? When will Wainscott break ground on the North side? We have been waiting for two weeks at a time since last JULY! The Association members, who are taxpayers and citizens of Coppell, deserve better. Per the letter I faxed you earlier, Wainscott Builders committed to the Association to "take over the landscape and irrigation liability completely as the property develops". The Association is currently making improvements to the center island which include the addition of Stone accents and prepping flower beds. Any addition of plants and flowers is pending water service and final resolution from Wainscott Builders to replace the plants that were killed due to no water during the Summer of 2002. This would be a great time for Wainscott Builders to HONOR their commitment to the Association by tapping into both a water and power source on the north or south side. This would be a much easier solution than attempting to tear under the cement cut through to attempt to locate the lines. It would also send a clear signal to the Association that Wainscott Builders is a good neighbor and upright company. At a minimum, The Association is expecting that Wainscott Builder's will be assuming the water and landscape service per the letter dated 2/25/2002. The Association hopes that the City will represent us on this commitment as well. Thanks again for your assistance and the Association looks forward to getting this resolved in the near future. I would add to the comments below that Mr. Wainscott's utility contractor has been instructed that when work commences on the next building, the water and electricity to the median are to be addressed first. Mr. Wainscott also indicated to our Engineering Inspector that the contractor should begin work on the site within 2 weeks. I will forward a copy of Mr. Wainscott's letter to you when it is received. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime. Sincerely, Andrea L. Please submit a letter outlining the intended repairs, which should include a street light, lighting for the Wynn page Subdivision monument sign, and also the irrigation system for the median on Wynnpage Drive at Denton Tap Road. We also ask that you include an estimated timeline from start to finish for the repairs. The letter can be faxed to 972-304-3570. If you have any questions, you can contact me at 972-304-3681.
