Construction Funds
Dear Ms. Brown:
The City received $75,282 in funding from Dallas County for the design and construction
of the Golden Triangle Mobile Home Park water line and fire hydrants. The City will
manage design of the project and the County will manage the advertisement, construction
and inspection. Design fees are $17,750, which leaves $57,532 for construction of the
project. The engineer's preliminary estimate is $177,294. The City has encumbered an
additional $75,000 for construction from CIP funds. If additional funds are needed they
will also come from CIP funds.
Attached is the signed water utility easement from Alford Media. It has not been filed
with the County. We are waiting on a water utility easement from the mobile home park.
