I wanted to let you know that I talked with Ken Griffin, the City Engineer, about the trees in question near
Georgian Place. He showed me a more detailed exhibit and it showed the trees to be removed. He also
told me that TXU has a blanket easement along the south side of Sandy Lake. The easement was
obtained years ago and does not have a specified width. The trees in question are within the TXU
easement.

The construction of Sandy Lake Road from Coppell Road North to Denton
Tap has been moved to 2007. During the design phase of the project,
the
City's Engineering Department will have public meetings with home
owners along that section of roadway to discuss their concerns. The
Georgian Place homeowners can make their case for the taken trees
during
