The proposed 8 -inch water line will parallel an existing 6 -inch ductile iron water line that will be abandoned upon completion of the project. Due to recent failures in the existing 6" water line, the construction start date for the project has been moved to an earlier date. A construction contract will be awarded during the May 13, 2003 City Council meeting. We do not think that any utility relocations will be necessary. Please review the enclosed set of plans to determine if you have any utilities within the project limits, and provide me with any comments that you may have at your earliest convenience. Also, please comment as to any precautions that should be taken to protect your utilities. Your consideration of this matter is appreciated. Should you have any questions or need any additional information, please feel free to contact me at 972 - 304 -7019. Sincerely, Suza. Taylor CIP Coordinator Enclosure 255 PARKWAY * P.O.
