Our client, The Wilke Company, represents the owner (Lomas) of the property at the
southwest corner of Belt Line Road and MacArthur Blvd., Coppell, Dallas County, Texas. The
Wilke Company has employed our firm to layout a median opening within the future Belt Line
Road improvements that would provide access to the Lomas property. Attached is a
preliminary layout which was proposed, submitted, and discussed with the City of Coppell.
After several meetings, the City has agreed in concept with the Belt Line Road median opening
plan (attached) with stipulations, such as a traffic study, adjacent landowner agreement, and
funding of construction. A copy of the City's letter is attached for your review and records.
Our client requests that your staff review the Belt Line Road median opening plan presented
and plan for a future median opening at this location. If you or your staff have any comments
or require additional information, please call us.
