Comments: The manhole located at station 4 +18 on DeForest Court is approximately 4 to 5 inches
higher than the driveway approach that was poured +1- two feet away from the manhole making It
Impossible to transition the sidewalk around the manhole. We have been asked by the developer to
lower the manhole and rather than remove the cone and a 2' riser section and install an 18" riser
section, we are proposing to use a top flange ring as shown in the Bass Hayes catalog, page 2,
#380 -24, This would allow us to achieve the desired top elevation without extensive exc avation around
the new gas and electrical lines that have been Installed.
