RE: Deforest Court Windsor Estates Asphalt Paving Maintenance Bond #MB4246
This letter is to inform you that on Deforest Road from Allen Drive to the entrance of
Windsor Estates low points are occurring in the asphalt paving causing standing water.
Some of the low points have been marked. As this project is pending a final acceptance
from the City of Coppell, please arrange for the appropriate repairs to be done as soon as
possible. I would appreciate a call to let me know when your crew will be on the site to
take care of the problem.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, do not hesitate to call me.

Principal, and Contractors Bonding Insurance Company as Surety, are held and firmly bound
unto the City Coppell, Texas as Obligee, in the amount of Nineteen Thousand Five Hundred and
no /100 Dollars ($19,500.00), to which payment well and truly to be made we do bind ourselves,
our and each of our heirs, executors administrators, successors and assigns jointly and severally,
firmly by these presents.
WHEREAS the said Principal and the Excel Group as Developer, have entered into a written
agreement dated June 14, 2001 for New Asphalt Pavement located at Deforest Road in Coppell,
TX, the terms of which agreement were completed and accepted the day of
2002.
WHEREAS, the Principal has given a two -year maintenance guarantee to the City of Coppell,
Texas against all defects in workmanship and materials which may become apparent during said
period.
PROVIDED FURTHER, that the Surety shall have no liability under this bond unless the
Obligee shall give written notice of claim of the Principal's failure to comply with such
guarantee to the Surety at: Contractors Bonding Insurance Company, 1213 Valley Street, P.O.
Box 9271, Seattle, WA 98109 -0271.
