During a field observation this morning, staff noted that construction has begun in the Bethel Road
Estates Subdivision. Several violations have been noted:
\, Obstruction of roadway without City approval - a water hose with wooden protection was crossing Bethel
Road. Staff instructed a representative from Holmes Builders how to bring water to the site without
obstructing the flow of traffic.
2. Floodplain Development Permit - Due to the proximity of the construction to the floodplain, an approved
permit from the City is required.
3. Building Permit - plans have yet to be submitted to the Building fuspections Department.
4. Construction Development Permit - approved plans and permit from the Engineering Department is required,
The plans are currently in the review process.
5. Erosion Control- an approved SWPPP plan is required. No erosion control was in place during today's site
visit.
6. Equipment over existing public sanitary sewer - Caution must be taken to prevent damage to the existing
system until the new system is operational.
7. All fill is to be monitored and verified by a certified testing laboratory.
