The City of Coppell is designing construction plans for Force Main Lines A & B. The
project will consist of the installation of 4697 L.F. of 20 -inch and 810 L.F. of 30 -inch
force main. The installation of the pipe will be bid with two alternate construction
methods: open cut and directional drilling. Depending on the type of construction bid,
the excavation may exceed 5000 cubic yards. We are requesting your review and
approval of the plans as required by the Texas Antiquities Code. Enclosed please find a
set of half -scale plans for the proposed construction.
The project is located in the Carrollton Quadrangle. The majority of the force main will
be constructed in the median of MacArthur Boulevard, and a small portion will be
constructed in MacArthur Park and other property owned by the City. It is anticipated
that construction will start in mid 2003.
Should you have any questions or need any additional information, please contact me at

Sincerely,
or
