NOTE FOLLOW-UP NOTES FROM THE MEETING ARE IN RED AND ITALICS.
I. Hike & Bike Trail
A. East point of Termination
i. Trail WIll extend to Denton Tap.
ii. TNP to evaluate alignment from station 104+00 to Denton Tap.
hi. City may elect to eliminate free rigl1t tum lane at Denton Tap to
minimize encroachment onto adjacent property.
B. Extension of trail to Freeport Parkway
i. Trail will be constructed on South side of road.
ii. TNPINJB to propose an alignment to submit to Parks/Public
Works for review.
iii. The trail will terminate at the west side of Freeport Parkway due
to the future extension south on Freeport also being on tl1e west side of
the mad. The median nose on Freeport may need to be adjusted to
accommodate trail crossing
iv. No sidewalk shall be shown west of Freeport Parkway.
v. Meander of trail shall not be excessive. (Hertz is an example of
excessive meander)
vi. TNP to evaluate additional corner clips needed to accommodate
trail and ramps at II1tersections.
C. Width of Trail
i. Trail will be eight feet in width for entire project (six feet minimum where
eight cannot be achieved).
D. Minimum Curb Setback
i. Four feet shalll]e the minimum setback measured from back of curb.

E. Confirm whether trail can be in open space/HOA lots
i. The City has not yet received permission from HOA's to encroach onto
landscape buffer lots
/I It may be necessary to prepare cross-sections showing
relationship of sidewalks and walls.
II. On-Street Bike Lanes
A On street bike lanes will be cfeleted from entire project.
B. TNP to revise horizontal layout to reflect change.
C Right-of-way will be correspondingly narrower to maintain standard parkway
width of ten feet The change will reduce required nght-of-way acquisition.
III. Intersection Enhancements
A. This will be coordinated further as design proceeds.
B The City is concerned about ADA compliance regarding ramps, Having ramps
and crosswalks same color may not be acceptable. We may use red for
crosswalks and dark gray for ramps.
C TNP to submit plans to thire} party contract TDLR reviewer.
IV. Landscape Concept
A. The City confinned that the new concept being used on the east section of
Sandy Lake Will also govern median Improvements for this project.
B NJB will prepare final plans for new concept.
C The parks department will provide NJB with plans from the previous project
D. NJB will use the same irrigation consultant as on the previous contract.
E NJB to coordinate all sleel/trlg needs for irrigation/power to median and provide
locations for sleeves to be /JJcluded in paving plans.
V. Miscellaneous
A Next meeting - The next project coordination meeting will be May 27 at 9:00
am at City Hall
B The City is prepan'n9 a fetter to the owner of the Ferguson Realty tract
requesting permission to survey on the property. It is anticipated that the letter
will be signed within the next few weeks.

is inaccurate or incomplete.
