Construction Plan Review Comments
Dear Mr. Landes:
The City of Coppell has reviewed the revised plans for the referenced addition and with the following
conditions, the plans will be approved.
General Notes -
1. The existing sanitary sewer line must be protected from damage until such time that the new sewer line is
put into operation.
2. The cover sheet should be revised to reflect the new Mayor of Coppell, Doug Stover.
3. On several sheets, Lot 1 is incorrectly labeled as Lot 2.
4. No fill, fences, structures, or other encroachments will be allowed in the floodplain until the necessary
submittals have been approved by FEMA.
Sheet 4 -
1. Since separate irrigation meters will not be used, the domestic meters must have double detector checks.
2. A revised fee assessment has been sent to Terry Holmes to reflect the changes in the meter sizes.
Sheet 6 -
A letter from the owner of Lot 2 is required to allow for the offsite grading taking place with the development of
Lot 1 (received 5/21/2003).
Please submit revised copies for the City Engineer's stamp. The City of Coppell requires three sets for its use;
your office should submit as many additional sets as necessary for construction operations. All contractors and
subcontractors onsite must have a copy of the plans approved by the City of Cop pel I.
All fees must be paid prior to release of this project for construction. These fees consist of impact and
construction inspection fees to be paid to this office as requested in the revised Fee Assessment Letter dated
May 20, 2003. The City assesses a 2% inspection fee for all private construction and 4% for public installations.
