The lakes, walls, MacArthur blvd. and some of AIIen rd. were constructed as part of the failed Lakes of
Coppell project in the mid 80's. The 2 sets of plans I have for the Lakes contain no details for the lake
system itself. All subsequent projects in the area (including the Villages) show the lakes as "existing".
I do have a couple of details showing the installation of a storm drain pipe thru the wall; these could be
helpful in determining existing conditions. I made copies, so stop by when you have a chance.

Thanks for the help with Alex Canal. I have the same problem starting to appear in the wall around the
pond at Allen Road Park. If you get a chance can you check the engineering files for a detail on how the
wall was built. I would assume this wall was constructed when they built Villages of Coppell Phase I, or
Phase II.
