Joe,
I am deeply concerned over the lack of progress and seemingly never - ending review of the two referenced LOMB
applications, which are both based on approved CLOMR's.
Case No. 03- 06 -844P (originally 02 -06- 1090P) was received by your office In March 2002. In a March 22, 2002 response,
you requested community acknowledgement from Dallas County. Now, more than 13 months later in a letter that I
received today, you are requesting public notice and additional letters from the Cities of Lewisville, Carrollton and Denton
County. Why are these administrative details being addressed now and not back in March 2002? Complying with this
request, especially the Public Notice portion will cause further delays and costs in this case. I protest the request and ask
for a quick resolution/response (within the next week).
Case No. 02 -06 -2315 was received by your office on August 20, 2002. Recently, we discovered that we had a new
reviewer and were being questioned on changes that we had been made at the request of the original reviewer_ We
received additional comments (Check2 comments) to which we responded. When we contacted the reviewer to see if we
had provided sufficient explanation, we were informed that she had 24 cases and had not had time to look at the response.
It Is hard to understand how the age of these two cases does not afford them some priority in the resolution of these
Issues. Please review approve this case as soon as possible.
A response to these concerns is requested. Better yet; approval of the cases would seem to be warranted and even
overdue.
