Northport BP-CS 960716July 16, 1996 The City With A Beautiful Future Rust Lichliter/Jameson 1420 W. Mockingbird Lane, Suite 300 Dallas, TX 75247-4906 RE: Northpoint Drive extension (North Port Addition) Dear Sir: 3?1~ P.O. LioX 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 zta•as2-oozz This letter is written as a follow-up to your letter dated July 1, 1996 requesting approval of preliminary centerline alignment of the extension of Northpoint Drive into S.H. 121. As far as the centerline alignment itself, the City offers no objections as that alignment meets our minimum centerline radius. At such time as you beginning finalizing the actual alignment on the ground there will need to be conversations with the property owner to the east because of the radius of the roadway encroaching upon that property and creating a need to acquire additional right-of--way and abandon right-of--way on the Freeport North Subdivision. The approval of the proposed centerline alignment is in no way a blanket approval of the street layout as provided on exhibit A. It is only an approval of the centerline alignment with the qualification that the property owner of the Freeport North Subdivision be contacted prior to additional approvals. It appears as though it was your intent for this office to forward copies of this information to TxDOT, however, I have not done that. This letter is provided to you so that you can forward it with any additional information necessary for TxDOT's approval. If you should have any questions or need any additional information please feel free to contact me at your convenience. Sincerely, ~7 Kenneth M. Griffin, P.E.
