Box 478 Coppell, TX 75019 Re: State Road/Freeport Parkway Paving and Drainage Plan Dear Ms. Daneshmand: We have reviewed the "revised" plans for the above referenced project. With regards to our November 7, 1990 letter, it appears that all comments have been addressed. We have no further objections except for the following. 1. The transitions at Thweatt Road and the south end of State Road were reduced in length - not made longer. Does this meet Uniform Control Manual Specifications? The engineer needs to address this. Also, additional pavement (transition) from the .north end of State Road to Thweatt Road needs to be provided as shown on plans. 2. The proposed pavement width does not meet the criteria set forth in the recently published "Roadway Classifications and Design Standards" as prepared by Barton-Aschman. 3. At Station 5+00 provide access to Lacy property by means of driveway approach. Leave out of concrete curb and gutter not acceptable. 4. The 100 yr design flood inundation line in vicinity of proposed channel indicated "existing". Engineer should indicate "proposed" line based upon City wide stormwater management plan. Also, 100 yr water surfaces should be shown on channel section/details. We have no further comments or objections. questions, please contact our office.
