RE: City Requires Off-Site .Sanitary Sewer Improvements -111 Business Park
Deaz Mr. Griffin:
In obtaining final approval for ow development, we have become aware that your engineering department
is requiring The Industrial Group to provide additional off-site sanitary sewer improvements which aze both
at our property and within the property of adjacent land owners. The improvements in question concern
increasing the size of an existing sanitary sewer line along the eastern boundary of ow site and through
Corporate Park Boulevard and onto the GTE site to the north. These improvements to the City's
infrastructure system in no way benefit ow development and furthermore are not contained within the
boundazies of ow project.
We have estimated the total costs for this additional requirement to be in excess of $40,000 including
design, materials and construction. While we aze not opposed to constructing these improvements on behalf
of the City, we are respectively requesting that we amend our Economic Development Incentive Agreement
as drafted to address these costs. We would propose that any additional impact fees (whether, roadway,
domestic water, or irrigation be reduces dollaz for dollar based on the actual costs of these improvements.
Please let us know if you are in agreement or call me to discuss any alternatives that you have in mind.
Sincerely
C ~'~ G ~ f?
