Magnolia Park-CS02083008 -30 -02 Magnolia Parks — Existing Manmade Lakes I talked with Rudi Reinecke of Geo- Marine about getting rid of the lakes. He said we would need a CDC permit if we were going to fill the lakes. We will have to do the study to determine if there is a significant rise in the flood plain. If we just cut a ditch to Denton Creek to drain the lakes, we will not need the CDC. We would not be allowed to deposit the fill material in Denton Creek because that would require a 404 permit. If the existing drainage into the lakes is not a natural drainage ditch into Denton Creek and the area is not and was not a wetlands, we do not have to worry about a 404 permit. He said there were very few wetlands along Denton Creek, and this area probably was not one. There were no requirements from the TNRCC.
