RE: Coppell Pediatric Associates
Dear Ms. Turner,
The purpose of this letter is to request an increase in the depth of concrete in lieu of lime
stabilization. The contractor would prefer to use 3,O00psi, 7" deep concrete for both the parking
areas and fire lanes, as allowed by the Subdivision Ordinance, rather than 6" deep concrete over
time stabilized subgrade.
Please notify Allen & Ridinger Consulting, Inc. as soon as possible as to the status of this request.
Sincerely,
Michael S. Allen, P.E.

Question:
We hereby request eliminating the lime stabilization under the proposed parking lot and fire lanes. The City allows
3,000 psi concrete with a 7" depth at fire lanes and 6" deep concrete at the parking areas or 4,000 psi concrete with a
6" depth at the fire lanes and a 5" depth at the parking areas. This is in lieu of lime stabilization, 3,000 psi concrete with
6" deep concrete at the fire lanes and 5" deep at the parking areas.
The City Engineering Dept. requires a formal letter from the civil engineer of record making this request. Please have
the civil engineer make this written request as soon as possible. We propose to use 3,000 psi. T' deep concrete
for both the parking areas and fin: lanes. A fax request is okay and please copy me. The request should be sent
