From: Teresa Turner To: Tim Porter Date: 8/1103 4:48:13 PM Subject: Re: The Mercantile Paving Tim - On the Mercantile Paving, if you choose to not use a lime stabilized subgrade, you can opt for either 4000 psi concrete OR increase the required thickness by one inch. Just fax me a letter indicating which option you prefer (972-304-3570). Riverview looks good. Just send me as many sets as you would like signed - I already have one. I haven't looked at Securelock but I plan (not promise) on coming in over the weekend to catch up on some things. It is the next set on my list. Have a good weekend and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks! Teresa »> "Tim Porter" <tporter@daa-civil.com> 8/1/03 2:30:07 PM »> Teresa, The inspector for The Mercantile noticed that the paving seemed over designed for the firelane area. I have reviewed the standard detail section (Paving Plan) and think that 3000 psi concrete would work in the 6" section better than 4000 psi. How should I go about filing for a change in the section? Can I send you a detail and have you sign it or write a letter? If you could give me some direction, I would be most appreciative. Also, any word on Riverview or Securlock? I'm just trying to adjust my schedule to work on revisions when I get them. Thanks and have a good weekend! Timothy J. Porter, P.E. Dowdey, Anderson, and Associates, Inc. 972.931.0694
